Charlotte ToolBank
The Charlotte ToolBank has been a cornerstone of the region’s charitable ecosystem for the past 15 years. We partner with nonprofit and community organizations, providing year-round access to tools, equipment, and expertise that help build opportunities in our region. We’ve partnered with over 1,300 nonprofits, providing 10,000 orders, saving organizations more than $18 million dollars and countless hours that extend their reach and drive their mission. As we look towards our next 15 years, we’re excited to expand equitable access to tools, deepening community partnerships, and positioning the ToolBank as essential infrastructure for workforce development, housing stability, and neighborhood revitalization all while we continue to Build a Better Charlotte for all.
I’m deeply honored and truly humbled to be named one of the four Major League Soccer Hometown Heroes. To stand alongside such inspiring leaders is both meaningful and energizing. I’m especially grateful for the spotlight this recognition brings, not to me, but to the vital work nonprofit leaders and organizations carry out every day, creating real impact in our communities. It’s an exciting moment, and one I hope helps amplify the importance of our work.
