The 2025 MLS Hometown Heroes Showcase presented by RBC Wealth Management celebrates innovative non-profit organizations and their leaders committed to serving the Austin community.

Fans in Austin have an opportunity to nominate impact organizations and leaders who demonstrate innovative approaches to serving communities with the greatest need.

2024 MLS Hometown Heroes

What Makes a Hometown Hero?

The 2025 selection committee, comprised of stakeholders from Major League Soccer, Austin FC, RBC Wealth Management and Black Players for Change, will identify four (4) Hometown Heroes based on the contributions in one or more of the following areas:

Removing Barriers to Access Youth Soccer

Empowering Youth to be Future Leaders

Protecting Green Spaces & Being Environmentally Responsible

Organizations must be a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and demonstrate a minimum of one (1) year business operation.
